A program initiative developed by the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington D.C., Any Given Child provides equitable access to arts education experiences for K-8 students during the school day. The program currently serves Elk Grove, Robla, Sacramento City and Twin Rivers School Districts with artist residencies, arts assemblies and field trips, and professional development in arts learning for teachers and administrators.

The Arts Commission administers the three areas of Any Given Child programming: Arts Exposure Experiences, in-class arts residencies, and professional development for teaching artists, classroom teachers, and school administrators. Teaching artists and arts organizations interested in providing arts services for the program may apply to the program in the summer, when applications are generally available. To ensure you receive updates regarding the program, please sign up for our e-newsletter.
