Holiday Music Series

Each year, the Sacramento International Airport (Airport) hosts a Holiday Music Series (Series), featuring local artists. The goal of the Series is to bring high‐quality, diverse performances that are representative of the region and its residents to the Airport for the enjoyment of holiday travelers. The Series adds holiday cheer to the lives of travelers while building Sacramento’s cultural identity. The Airport typically funds between 15 and 25 two hour performances between Thanksgiving and the end of December. In 2015 the performances were in Terminal B, Baggage Claim, east side between the two baggage carousels, in Terminal A, Baggage Claim, along the front glass windows in between the doors leading to the curb, and past security in both Terminals A and B. The office of Sacramento County Supervisor Susan Peters also hosts Holiday Music performances throughout Sacramento County. In 2016, performances will take place at Loehmann's Plaza and at Pavilions on Fair Oaks Boulevard. The Holiday Music Series is presented by the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, the Sacramento International Airport and the office of Sacramento County Supervisor Susan Peters.

The 2016 performance schedule has concluded.
