Franklin Boulevard Urban Plein Air Project
DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JULY 15.
SMAC invites Sacramento regional artists and teaching artists to submit qualifications for the Franklin Boulevard Urban Plein Air Project. Up to 30 artists will be selected to paint up to 30, approximately 20”x24” murals on exterior walls along Franklin Boulevard in Sacramento, California. An honorarium of $500.00 will be awarded to each artist. There is a teaching artist residency aligned with the project. For more details click on the link below.

Sacramento International Airport Public Art
The application deadline has passed.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission (SMAC) invited artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for potential inclusion in a pre-qualified artist database for upcoming public art opportunities at the Sacramento International Airport.
The “Airport Art Program” will provide opportunities for artists to create permanently installed artwork at various sites throughout the Airport over the next four years.
