Request for Qualifications for Sacramento International Airport Public Art Competition  
The Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission (SMAC) invites artists and artist teams to submit qualifications for potential inclusion in a pre-qualified artist database for upcoming public art opportunities at the Sacramento International Airport.

The “Airport Art Program” will provide opportunities for artists to create permanently installed artwork at various sites throughout the Airport over the next four years. 

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Application materials must be received at the SMAC offices not later than August 4, 2008.

Request for Qualifications for Three Competitions  
The Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, Art in Public Places Program (APP) invites you to submit qualifications for one or more of the following projects in Sacramento, California:

  • Valley Hi North Laguna Library: exterior site
  • New Greenhaven Pocket Library: exterior site and/or
  • George Sim Community Center: exterior site

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Application materials must be received at the SMAC offices not later than August 15, 2008.
